Urban Music Party 2015, Dates & Lineup Announced
Well, it’s that time again, folks— Urban Music Party (UMP), is coming back to Blantyre's BAT Ground on November 8 2015, with a pre-party slated for November 7.
And this year’s lineup–like always–is rocking. Headliners (well, there are nothing but headliners, really) include Home Grown African,Fredokiss, Bucci, Sangie, BlakJak, Sonye and many, many more.
In it's fourth year taking place, the daytime music showcase will return with an international guest artist, Zambia's award winning Chimzy Kelly of 'Mwankazi Ni Kumbuyo' performing on the big day.
According to Malawi News Agency, UMP Project Manager Wisdom Phanga said, the festival will honour two lifetime achievers and there will also be an award for Artist of the year. Other categories include Song of the year, Video of the year and Radio Deejay of the year. In addition there will be dancing and freestyle competition.
